Happy Thanksgiving to our Vero Family!
With 2020 coming to a close, it’s a great time to reflect on everything we have to be thankful for. What better time to do that than Thanksgiving?
As a company, we are first and foremost thankful for all our employees, clients, and our growing community of professionals who support us as we strive to achieve our mission of transforming patient care. We especially thank our amazing nurses, who have been on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their continued courage, commitment, and care have made them true healthcare heroes for all to see. We would not be who we are today without them.
Individually, we are thankful for many things, big and small. Here are the responses some of the Vero team gave when asked, “What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?”
The Vero Team Shares Gratitude & Thankfulness This Thanksgiving
“Of course I am most thankful for my sweet baby boy (and the rest of my family)!” – Alexa Grote, Account Manager
“I am thankful for my family, friends, loved ones, and also Vero RN.” – Joseph Henderson, Healthcare Recruiter
“I am most thankful for my family and all the prayers God has answered for them the last couple of weeks. We will all be able to be together on Thanksgiving through the gift of the newfound Zoom meetings that my family has started doing. May we all have many more.” – RoseAnn Mcghee, Healthcare Recruiter
“When I think back to the entire year, there is a lot to be thankful for, and that gives me joy. Even though we aren’t having the typical big family Thanksgiving, I am still so thankful for my family, my friends that are like family, my son who I adore, my coworkers, and for all the healthcare professionals on the frontline of this pandemic. I am thankful for all the blessings and opportunities I’ve received. This has been a crazy year, but it’s made me appreciate things so much more.” – Kristina Thomas, Marketing Manager
“I am very thankful for my amazing Husband Eddie, and his two daughters, Katie and Laney. They help keep me sane during this crazy time. I am also very thankful to have my Mama Bear here. She has been very sick and struggling, but I still look forward to my daily phone calls with her. I won’t be able to spend time with her for Thanksgiving because she is in the hospital, but I will be looking forward to our phone calls.” – Deena Rogers, Quality Assurance Specialist
“I’m very thankful for my health and my family. Everyone is doing well, and I am very thankful for that. I’m thankful that I have this job where I indirectly help those that are sick. I work closely with nurses to get them to different assignments, and then the nurses do all the work. They are amazing. I am thankful that with this job, especially right now, I can play a role in improving the health of others.” – Michelle Breitburg, Healthcare Recruiter
“Honestly, I am thankful for this opportunity to have been invited to work here at Vero. It’s a great team, job, and company. Also, I am very thankful for my loved ones.” – Devon McKenzie, Healthcare Recruiter
