Tell us about your current role. What’s a day in the life of a Vero Account Manager? LOTS OF EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS 😊 but really, partnering every day with hospitals throughout the nation determining their needs for Registered nurses in all specialties. I take this information and work with our team of awesome recruiters to source the best talent! I like to think of myself as the middleman between the recruiters and nurses, and their next travel assignment!
What do you love most about supporting the healthcare industry?
I love people, especially helping people, and helping people help people! Being able to work for a company that has a direct impact on the type of professionals that are treating patients every day and contributing to the care of patients is truly an amazing thing!
Why should someone work with Vero to fill their staffing needs?
Vero has a team of individuals who at their core care about their nurses and the hospitals they staff for! They do not view their job as a means to an end, but rather an opportunity to contribute to the healthcare system positively every day! They always do what is BEST and what is right by their nurses providing them with all of the resources and knowledge of the industry that they can, and truly partnering with the nurses throughout their assignments!
What trends are impacting healthcare staffing right now?
Currently, the healthcare staffing industry is shifting and changing due to COVID. Hospitals need travelers like last week! As a company, we have had to adapt and improvise on how to efficiently partner with our clients and get them the help they need as soon as possible during these times!
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to travel to Santorini!
What is your ideal way to spend your free time?
I LOVE spending time with my family & friends. We just recently welcomed a sweet baby boy to our family in April of this year!
